The film follows a father (Ewan McGregor) who secretly drives his estranged daughter (McGregor’s real-life daughter, Clara) to rehab after she overdoses, aware that she has inherited his addiction problems, and after he has started a new family elsewhere. Along the way, they meet all types of people, and their relationship is put to the ultimate test. Weary plays a character named Kip, who bonds with the daughter, and Zimmer plays Elsie, a toy truck driver/mechanic who picks the pair up after their car breaks down.

Emma Westenberg directed the film, which is based on an original story written by Ruby Caster alongside Clara McGregor and Vera Bulder, Weary’s real-life wife. Bulder also appears in the film as a character named Tommy.

To join Weary and Zimmer in “The Locher Room,” tune in live on Thursday, February 15, at 12:30 p.m. ET/9:30 a.m. PT. You can also set a reminder by clicking here.
