I always get spooked by statements like that, but I don't think there have been any rumors of vultures swirling for GH up to this point that that quote would be the typical counterpoint to. So I'm choosing not to worry about it.

Eh, good PR. He did well especially since it sounds like he was caught unawares! If he hadn't managed as well, I'd be furious. He did well & I'm yawning. We soap fans are monsters.

So do I.  "We love GH!  We got big plans for GH! GH ain't goin' anywhere!"  Cut to: "BREAKING NEWS: 'GH' CANCELLED!"  (Or worse, shuffled off to Hulu forever).

Honestly moving to streaming would be better for the show's longevity (and creative reboot) IMO. It's the only future soaps have for my money.

These scenes with Sonny acting like he's a Corleone from The Godfather are both obnoxious and hilarious.

 

I am hopeful with Rena as Lois when Patrick Mulcahey back. He wrote for Lois from July-Sept 96 (Her Exit) and her 1997 visits

Plus he wrote for her as Quinn at B&B from 2013-2019

Rena had said back then she thought they turned Lois into an idiot after the Labine’s left - so she was not exactly complimentary about the the writing for Lois during that era. 

In fairness, they had to contrive a swift exit for her somehow.

Those 8 women surrounding Sonny-what is the message here?

And to be fair PM only wrote for Lois during Tracy's 1996 Visit, Not all of 1996. Just like 2-3 months

Yep Rena was going on maternity leave but also not renewing her contract. That 1996 exit is why we got the Feb 97 return
