Has there been any explanation why Hope did a complete 180 and started lusting for Thomas months ago?

It's not like anything happened in the Lope marriage to at least spur Hope's actions.

Why can't Thomas hook up with one of the models screaming for their 10 minutes of fame? At this point, with a lackluster story development (besides the erotic fantasy), WHY is Hope sleeping with Thomas? Why? All they did was make some dresses.
