Mansi, who for years portrayed Abigail Deveraux DiMera on “Days of our Lives” and even won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her portrayal, has been placed on contract with the ABC series following her official debut during the Wednesday, May 24 episode, according to recent updates to the show’s end credits. The actress is listed under the contract cast just behind Jane Elliot who recently returned to the show as Tracy Quartermaine, and ahead of James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine), who traditionally leads off the recurring cast list that closes out the end credits. Lexi Ainsworth, who had played Kristina on the daytime drama series until her final appearance on the April 27, 2023 episode, had been on recurring status with the soap. Ainsworth herself won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series for her portrayal of Kristina in 2017.
