As previously reported, Shemar Moore is set to reprise his role as Malcolm Winters on the Monday, May 8 episode of “The Young and the Restless” in celebration of the show’s 50th anniversary. In a teaser clip released by CBS, we get our first glimpse of Malcolm as he and his family reunite for a special tribute to Malcolm’s brother, Neil (the late Kristoff St. John).

In the episode, Malcolm returns to Genoa City to connect with his daughter, Lily (Christel Khalil), nephew Devon (Bryton James) and his stepson Nate (Sean Dominic) from a prior relationship with Nate’s mother, Olivia (Tonya Williams).

For a refresher, Lily was determined to be the biological daughter of Malcolm from a one-night stand with Lily’s mother, Drucilla (Victoria Rowell). At the time, Dru thought she had slept with her husband, Neil, while under the influence of cold medicine. Devon was adopted by Dru and Neil in 2006.

In addition to the Winters/Hamilton family, look for Moore to share scenes with Chene Lawson, who plays Devon’s mother (see story), Harmony, along with Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman), Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman), Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland), and Sharon Case (Sharon Newman), among others.

Check out a sneak peek clip below.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays on CBS. The show is also available to stream live and On Demand on Paramount+.
