I hear you.
For me the mistake is pretending that Anita's long hair was her own. Doesn't we all assume that was a wig? It was a great wig and looked good on her, but it was clearly a wig.
Now we're supposed to pretend that was her real hair. Huh? Dani cuts it and all of a sudden Anita's long straight hair turns curly -- and there's no mention of further hair loss.
I realize we might hear more about this. BTG has surprised us with more in the past. I'm just concerned this wasn't fully thought out.
I've said before that I don't want the show to be cancer heavy, but I also don't want the show to cover real issues in an unrealistic way.
Anita already gets a private room for her chemo treatments. You've brought up a hair loss treatment that these people should know about and can afford.
Am I nitpicking again? Yeah, I am, because serious issues shouldn't be treated with anything less than the truth. If they can't do that, I'd rather not see it at all.
