‘Harry Potter’ TV Series On Max: Everything We Know About The Cast, Release Date, What J.K. Rowling Says & More

Isn't it a little too soon? The movies will still be very much present in everyone's mind, and this will undoubtedly be compared to those.

And how on earth will they be able to match the cast of the movies? It was, more or less, a who's who of British stars: Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman, Ralph Fiennes, Robbie Coltrane, Gary Oldman, Emma Thompson, Julie Walters, Helena Bonham Carter, John Hurt, Michael Gambon, Robert Hardy etc

This is SEO 101.

Right now, Harry Potter is a hot topic with news that it's being rebooted as TV series. With people searching for information, sites create these Search Engine Optimized (SEO) articles so that when people search for stories related to Harry Potter, mainly when it's coming out and who's starring in it, and even if J.K. Rowling will be involved, Google and other search engines will help rank their articles at the top of the list because the "article" (aka post) provides the bullet points that a user is searching for. The better you rank, the more hits you get. The more clicks, the more money you generate.

So, to answer your question...nope. Not too soon.

HP will always be a huge cash cow. But no, I don't think this will hit. I think it's too soon for anyone to embrace a whole new cast and the same stories. You'd need at least another 5-10 years, and the brand has refused to go away with the Fantastic Beasts films, etc. which were a mess.
