In response to a comment on her Instagram timeline, actress Charlotte Ross hinted at a possible return to “Days of our Lives,” where she portrayed Eve Donovan on the series from 1987-1991. The role was most recently portrayed by Kassie DePaiva, who herself played the role off and on from 2014-2020.

“We’ve had a few conversions lately…,” said Ross in response to user @erikfreund, who had asked her, “Are you going to come back to days as eve.” The original post by Ross, highlighted by a picture of her enjoying an evening out, was captioned, “About last eve…” and included a smiling face emoji with the hashtag “#nofilter.”

While the original posts were made in late January, specifically the day after Ross’ birthday, there has been no further public comment by the actress or anyone from the show about a possible return for Ross. That said, considering the soap tapes roughly six months before airing all-new episodes on Peacock, it could be some time before we might even see her on-screen should a deal eventually be made or announced. And that’s if said discussions have gone anywhere beyond “a few conversations.”

In the meantime, another “Days of our Lives” veteran, Louise Sorel, recently announced her return to the series as Vivian Alamain. However, fans won’t see her on screen until late summer or early fall due to the aforementioned tape-to-air schedule.

Should the show and Ross strike a deal for a return, keep checking Soap Opera Network for the latest.
