Lisa Rinna (“Days of our Lives,” “Melrose Place”) is concluding her eight-season run on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” PEOPLE magazine is reporting. She first joined the reality series in 2014 during the show’s fifth season.

In a statement released to PEOPLE, Rinna says, “This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series.” She added, “It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!”

A representative for Rinna notes that after her contract expired at the end of the show’s 12th season, she began “weighing her options and business obligations,” and both Rinna and the NBCUniversal-owned network “mutually decided that she would not return” when the show starts shooting season 13 in the coming weeks.

Reportedly, during the most recent BravoCon event, Rinna was greeted with boos from audience members and she flipped them off in response. These acts allegedly stem from an on-air/off-air dispute with co-star Kathy Hilton during filming.

Before turning to reality TV, Rinna was best known for playing Billie Reed on “Days of our Lives” and Taylor McBride on “Melrose Place.” She competed on “Dancing with the Stars” during the show’s 24th season and co-hosted SOAPnet’s “SoapTalk,” alongside Ty Treadway (“One Life to Live”). Rinna appeared as a presenter at “The 48th Annual People’s Choice Awards”  alongside her “Real Housewives” co-stars on December 6, 2022.
