Webmaster Errol Posted March 29, 2022 Webmaster Share Posted March 29, 2022 Fans of “General Hospital” star Maurice Benard will get a double helping of the actor when he appears on both the daytime drama series as Sonny Corinthos and its lead-in “GMA3: What You Need to Know” as himself on Wednesday, March 30. The actor and author (“Nothing General About It: How Love (and Lithium) Saved Me On and Off General Hospital”) will be discussing mental health, bipolar, anxiety and depression, among other topics. In a video teasing his appearance, Benard notes he’ll also be talking about his YouTube series “MB: State of Mind” which features co-star Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) in the Sunday, April 3 episode. Additionally, he expects to be discussing his current storyline involving the triangle between Carly (Laura Wright), Sonny and Nina (Cynthia Watros). In addition to Benard, look for New York City Department of Health Commissioner Dr. Ashwin Vasan; actress Jamie Lee Curtis and co-author Barney Saltzberg (“What Do You See?”); and Deals and Steals with ABC e-commerce editor Tory Johnson. Note: A rep for ABC News confirms that Benard’s appearance will air during “GMA3” and not “Good Morning America” as referenced in the video below. “GMA3: What You Need to Know” airs Weekdays at 1:00 p.m. ET/12:00 p.m. PT on ABC, immediately preceding “General Hospital.” Note: The post Maurice Benard to Appear on ‘GMA3: What You Need to Know’ appeared first on the Soap Opera Network website. Members j swift
How long do we predict that GMA3 will keep the "What You Need to Know” part of their title? I guess it's better than GMA3 and Kiki...
Webmaster Errol Posted March 29, 2022 Author Webmaster Share Posted March 29, 2022 Well, it's been two years since they adopted that portion of the name since the show debuted exactly two years ago last week. The got rid of "Pandemic" in the title in June of 2020. So, maybe we'll see them drop the longer title by then, if we're lucky? Either way, looks like news and talk are taking a hit right now particularly the daytime shows. Cable is thriving.
