The soap gods wouldn't allow it to survive.  Either it will be switched with Ciara's, or Jan will fall, or something will happen so she'll never give birth.

And why would Belle be so unempathic?  Shawn was basically sexually assaulted by the devil that she was just exercised from last week.  Days has a weird thing with male consent for sex.

And Ben and Ciara's baby is already gonna be switched with the baby that the aliens leave behind.

I just find it ODD that Shawn and Belle are finally having a conversation about this. This sexual assault happened back in December 2021 and they swept the incident underneath the rug as if it never happened. To me, it's totally absurd.
