Per the credits,  Jackée Harry (Paulina) has always been on contract.   The article  is wrong on that factor,  as is it is calling Rob Wilson a veteran DAYS actor.

Maybe Deadline is privy to something we don't know or they misunderstood what PR told them? "Veteran" is subjective. On a primetime show seven years on the series does make you a vet. I'd think the same would hold true for a daytime soap, especially when you're on your third contract cycle.
