I mean, meh. It made no sense for him to go finally when he had a sort of “purpose” with Sally and as a thorn in the side of the Abbotts. Still, hard to get excited about anything Y&R these days.

In SOD, there is an article which I will summarize: Theo is still living and working in Paris running the boutiques (the boutiques he received in the settlement from Dina's estate). He happens to be in Chicago on a business trip and he phones Sally from there. He tells Sally he has some information about Kyle, and he says that since he's nearby he'll just come to Genoa City to tell her about it. They meet at Crimson Lights and he tells her what he knows.

 

soapsindepth.com says that Tyler Johnson (Theo)'s return is for only a few episodes.

it's very dumb that the show finally has an interesting younger female character in Sally, and they dumb one of the two guys in her age range and saddle her w/ Grampa Jack. 🤣

They can't hire someone who can act?

I had heard Theo was coming back through unofficial channels but this is the first official announcement I have seen.

 

Not even sure why the show let Theo go in the first place either, as it seemed he was finally given something interesting to do right before he left.

Isn't that always the case though.

 

Characters that were meh or had potential getting ready good before they leave.

The downside is the show weirdly let Kyle

& Summer have a victory lap for no reason at all after all that went into Kyle & Lola as well as Summer’s paranoia and acting like her mom. Kyle and Summer have never had a spark of chemistry whatsoever no matter who’s playing them. 🤢
