Susan Lucci is known of course for playing the same role on the same soap for over 40 years - but she appeared on bit parts in other soaps before landing AMC. Lauryn Hill who did one or two film roles before devoting herself to music, only appeared on ATWT as well. Nia Long was only on GL, I think. @AbcNbc247 l'm pretty sure that Kim Johnston Ulrich appeared on ATWT in the previous decade. Phil Morris, who went on to play Jackie Chiles, only did Y&R. Tricia Cast, who has been acting since she was a child has only been in Y&R, it looks like.
