Why are they saying just one dose? Hmmmm

And there sure is evil in this world for someone to do that @victoria foxton

The AstraZeneca is one dose, I believe. Also, it is said that it only needs regular refrigeration, unlike the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, although there has been some debate over the efficacy rate of the AstraZeneca.

Yes, I've heard that the efficacy is between 65 - 70%.

Oh no. I hope all is well and it's not that at all.

Thank you. We heard from him earlier today. He got the test and will get the results in 24-48 hours. Other than fatigue and the lack of taste, he says he feels OK.

Good to hear.

Okay...while I feel fine...and due to a lot of craziness this week with people around me and their masks or the full moon or something like they took a whole trolley away because someone had been on it and suspicions are they were infected, I decided to be better safe than sorry.

I went and got tested.

My brother just texted, and he is indeed positive. He is at home quarantining. @Taoboi, all the best to you.

Well, damn. I am sorry to hear that. Wow. Stay strong. :)

Thank you for the well wishes. I am just happy to see I am not stressing about it like I would have been six months ago, but I am worried a bit.

I'm wishing your brother a speedy recovery as well, @amybrickwallace.  I wish we could just leave this damn virus behind with the REST of 2020.

Just found out that a colleague died of COVID-19 a few days ago. I hadn't been in touch with him for a number of years. At first, I felt oddly numb and then I began to remember be bits, hos personality quirks and moments of kindness and generosity and it made me smile, even giggle but now, I feel inexplicably and unbelievably down.
