BBC World News chose to open their broadcast not with the story of the far-right group that were planning to storm the German Parliament but…wait for it…Harry and Meghan’s Netflix docustory series?? Huh? The Brits need to get their media sorted because their obsession is pulling their priorities out of whack. I am feeling a shade of secondhand embarrassment for them.

I refuse to link directly to either Semafor or Max Tani, who has never met a negative Biden/Harris scoop he doesn't love, but the headline speaks for itself re: the noxious Peter Baker and the not much better Michael Shear:

Bankruptcy is beginning to look more like reality and less like a joke being bandied about social media.

Musk also disbanded the Trust and Safety group , among a host of other cost cutting measures, and more firings, of course.

Perhaps this is wild speculation but, it sounds extreme and unsettling. If I still had an account on Twitter, I would be worried, tbh.

Semafor continues to simply traffic in gossip and its quest to be Politico Jr., but this is worth reporting given recent drama at the Post.
