Frankly, I've never known who GH's Carly is truly in love with.  I mean, it seems to change all the time.

Now that two Carlys are on GH (Maura West and Laura Wright), I'm starting to notice several parallels between Sarah Brown's Carly and 90s Carly Tenny ATWT. Both debuted around the same time, 1995 & 1996. Both denied their child his natural father: Michael & AJ, Parker & Hal. Both ran through several men despite being in love with someone else: Carly Tenny: John Dixon, Hal & Brad while in love with Jack; Carly Benson: Tony, AJ, and Sonny while in love with Jason.

 

 

This episode was released on DVD during the ATWT DVD releases.

Jason.  Always Jason... Sonny is just an afterthought.  I THINK Sonny and Brenda are still the endgame couple but I could be wrong...

FACTS! If anything, Sonny belongs with Brenda, Carly with Jason and Elizabeth with Lucky 1.0, as for Sam....eeeh.

Glad to see we all had the same answer.

But, if Carly loves Jason, then why does it seem like whenever I'm watching GH, she's either with Sonny or some other dude?

Because Jason doesn't want her.  Sonny is like her placeholder.  I don't mind Carson  they are fine, but if Jason said the word it would be game over.  Same with Brenda.  That's who Sonny actually loves...  Carly is like his friend.  I don't get actual romantic love from them..

Kinda agree  Brenda should have moved on but what is his point if he is not going to end up in jail, dead, or with Brenda?  Him and Carly aren't  endgame..  They are just there.

Both of those options sound better and more feasible than ending up with Brenda, tbh. They absolutely annihilated that pairing.

Sonny is a sociopathic mobster.  He deserves nothing less than to be alone -- no family, no friends, nothing -- for the rest of his useless, miserable life.

 

Or he and Jason could run away to New Hampshire and raise tofu.

Not that they wouldn’t try if VM returned, but talk about beating a dead horse.

LOL I get it, but they aren't going to kill off or jail Sonny so I just think that's the endgame.   Brenda and Sonny?  Yes... Luke and Laura? Yes..  Probably Robert and Anna  It's just the way it's going to be.   VM is just waiting for the phone call lol
