Jamie Lynn Bauer sounded like so much fun to work with.  Can’t even have a little makeup room fun with horoscopes with her there.

I wonder if Austin Peck is still as devout.  I also wonder how these people would have reacted if they were still in he show when Will started kissing boys.

Judging from how open Jensen Ackles seems now, both in content on his show and with his fandom, he must be less evangelical than he seemed as a kid.

I did like that Julianne Morris fought for her character not to have sex before marriage, but that even though the show didn't change it.. they did add the regret to not waiting where it was something she could play as an actress.  So it was a compromise.

I know Jenn Lilley also expressed being a Christian (she played Esther in a movie based on the bible character)... but that she said she isn't playing herself, but playing a character.  And lets face it, her character Theresa always got punished for lying and scheming.

In the primetime soap front, Susan Howard (Donna Culver Krebbs, Dallas) has been vocal about her Christianity for decades - even co-hosting The 700 Club in the late 1980s. Here is a more recent article about her ministry for fatherless boys, 2015:

Mentor fathers and boys meet four times a month...plan a special outdoor activity (camping, hunting, fishing, riding)

women also offer invaluable insights into the needs of a single mom and the challenges that she faces. They are “wired” differently than men and think of things that men would never come up with. One example is that our women’s Bible study collected money to give to the Field Buddies (under the Mentor Father’s supervision) to buy their mothers flowers for Mother’s Day.

Women could pick up the daughter(s) and take them some place special. Another idea is to give a gift certificate to the mom for Mother’s Day to get a manicure.
