Who are people up in arms about this time?

Aaron Carter at the Grammy's - I defy anyone to find actual outrage beyond a single lady from the midwest who tweeted about it once to her 20 person following.

There's usually some obscure celeb that died and wasn't included and it is always reported as if the award producers actually spit on their grave.

This was not cute. Very Pete Burns-esque.

Holy crap! Is that Madonna??!! What has she done to herself.

That Pete Burns comparison is eerily accurate.

She was looking so good until a couple years ago (maybe a little fake-ish around 2018-19, but still resembled a human), then just butchered herself.

That old commercial - I'm not going to age gracefully, I'm going to fight every step of the way!   Well, she did.  And her face looks like the battleground.

Don't you just wonder?  Do they sign a waiver?  You acknowledge that something bad could happen, and that you're admitting before it does - that you'll sign on to fix whatever mistake was made....and I'll likely make more mistakes.  And I'll cut you again to fix it, likely making it worse.  Sign right here on the dotted line, and we'll get started.  Thanks.

I've been looking at the poster for 80 for Brady while reading the thread on prime-time ratings from the 1980s in a coffee shop and it makes me wistful for mass media.

I will probably never watch 80 for Brady because it wasn't made for me nor marketed towards me.  However, I watched Steel Magnolias, which seems to have been made for a similar audience, because those were the days when big media was inescapable.  Everyone saw Beaches, it wasn't just for women of a certain age.  You went to school and everyone discussed Shogun, or whatever miniseries was the event of the week.  There was a camaraderie in mass consumption that I mourn.

Don't know where do place this since there isn't a side bar comment section anymore.

Cheers is coming to blu ray in April.

I remember it. And those were good times.

LOVE this.

The discussion keeps on coming up on Twitter with people saying they hate seeing sex scenes in movies and TV. This thread was a response to that:
