I guess fans freaked that GH cast her when they fired Rebecca Budig. Nathan Varni actually responded that Alla is playing a guest role

    I like Alla Korot but it will be a boring forgettable role. The whole Krissy/Parker story has been forgettable. Shelly's world will be as monotonous as "Jelly's World''.

    The difference between Jean Passanante, or Jean Passanante in tandem with Shelly Altman, and Shelly Altman on her own or with Van Etten...will be like the difference between President James Buchanan's administration and Martin Van Buren's.  One was nasty and left a scar on a lot of people's psyches; the other was forgotten about ten minutes after it was over.

    Khan u have no idea what ideas Shelly will bring on her own. U know shes worked 22 years in soaps to get to this point. She is more then qualified to take flight. Jean was the senior head writer so i am sure Shelly followed more of her lead. Now she had fresh ideas brewing from her brain with Chris who appeals to millenials. Honestly they can write GH like a netflix show. Its perfect idea to grab millenials. Shelly sure has the gusto for GH.

    I thought "Jelly" was supposed to be like the second coming of Christ but yet the ratings kept going down....down ....down...further to Hell.

    Why did they freak? Were they shocked that someone who can act replaced someone who never could?
