At the end of the January 31 episode, a young woman signs a check with the name Sally Spectra. Bradley Bell has decided to bring back the Spectra gang.

Courtney Hope will be playing Sally Spectra, Sally's grandniece.
Patrika Darbo will be playing Shirley Spectra, Sally's sister.
Alex Wyse is cast to play Saul's grandson Saul.
Danube Hermosillo will be playing Darlita.

Also, Mick Cain is returning as C.J. Garrison for a guest spot.

Typical Bradley Bell. He gets a new toy, plays around with it for awhile, and then suddenly drops it completely.

Also, with the news of Zende and Nicole

, that's the first thought that popped into my head. Gone! Sad.

It reminds me a bit of how the British soaps can historically roll out whole families at once - something I've often thought our soaps can try but the climate here is so polarized and angry about anything like that, with good reason.

I'll wait and see (I actually put B&B back on DVR because of this), but it could've been executed so much better. This feels so unnatural and plot driven and usually when that is the case you can't become invested because you know Brad Bell is going to be over it in six months to a year. So you don't have a bunch of newbies hogging the screen, I'd figure out a way to tie current cast members in. Maya is an easy choice and needs a story. I would keep the idea of nuSally and Shirley, but put Maya and possibly a dissatisfied Rick in there and try to build a proper rival to Forrester like before. I also feel like with CJ and Clarke still viable why not have them as important parts to this story? Thorne due to Ally and Darla? It just feels kinda silly the way they're laying it out for us.

    • The Gio reveal that he is both a Q and a Falcenari will cause upheaval, but I bet Monica's upcoming death will bring the families back together
    • That would have made more sense than Brooke's other love interests in those years (including the man who killed her daughter).
    • I am counting on Martin to step up and check Bill next week. I need an old, nasty gay read down. Does anyone know if it has been stated that Dani went to college? I felt the same way. I got a bit worried when he didn't pick up the phone. I hope he is in good shape.
    • @Faulkner Thank you, adding that to my queue.
    • I heard the first episode. I will be back after I've listened to more.
    • Even though I wasn't watching GL in real time by then, I was happy that MZ got his long-awaited for Lead Actor Emmy. MZ deserved more wins than the one he got. He wasn't nominated in 1991 but should have been and I think he could have won that year, and I also think he should have won in 1992.
    • How did you guys feel about Devon with Mark Dalton?  I believe so. Brooke needed a storyline that played on her history at that time. I could have seen Brooke fall for him now that she has grown up.
    • Forgive me because this stretches the topic a bit, but I cannot stop thinking about this line in Barbara Rush's (aka AMC Tad's doppelgänger's Ted's mother Nola Orsini & Flamingo Road's Eudora Weldon) wiki bio.

The quote comes from an article about Rush's daughter Claudia Cowen who is a reporter for Fox News.  Rush's ex-husband was one of the biggest publicists in Hollywood.  And, she had a famous house in Bel Air.  But, I want to know how at 70 years old, she wound up at the Lloyd Estate, which is huge, and had been owned by Ron Burkle and Ted Field.  The house was worth 60 million dollars in 2001.  But, I cannot find the story of why/when/how she lived there, because whenever she gets asked about it, she always says that she was “staying” there, not that she bought it. BTW, for those that may not know.  Her ex-husband, Warren Cowen, wound up marrying the mother of Sarah Gilbert (Roseanne & The Talk), as well as her siblings Melisa and Jonathan Gilbert (Little House on the Prairie).  So, Ms. Rush did not get her money from him, because she got remarried to a sculptor of minimal reknown, and they divorced in 1973. Ms. Rush died last year with dementia.
    • When does Liam die? I just want to watch B&B for his death scene and funeral
