Ryan Lochte lied about being robbed at gunpoint in Rio.  He and his teammates damaged property at a gas station and got into it with the attendant.  Ryan fled to US while his teammates are being detained in Brazil.  While Ryan says its not a lie, his detained buddies have already copped to the lie.  Mario Andrada says "they are kids having fun...life goes on".  Mind you, Lochte is 32 years old.  Doesn't get more privileged than that!

The thing I hate most about this Lochte mess is that it was just such a cynical ploy. It's obvious that they assumed that given all of Rio's very real issues they could just lie about being robbed by cops and that the rest of the world would take them at face value because "Hey, Rio's a shithole so it's gotta be true."

Bwhahahaha so true. Ryan was recently interviewed about his life and how he was a party guy and how he was over it. The interviewer said how he still saw a twinkle of the bad guy in him. Well then this happens!  Ryan is scum for leaving his teammates and supposed friends holding the bag. It is obvious his teammates tried to save his behind because they were questioned for 4 hours before they gave him up!

And before the other swimmers admitted to Ryan lying…the internet was flooded with how bad Rio is….its 100% true…yada yada…..I wasn't too sure if his story was true considering Lochte bad reputation.

French athlete gets booed twice by Rio home crowd.

BREAKING: Brazilian authorities confirm to ABC that Ryan Lochte & James Feigen have been indicted for false reporting of a crime

Funny how Feigen was the one that posted on Twitter that it was going to be party time in Rio after the last swimming event…..

If found guilty they will have to pay a fee…...

ABC just reported that part of the tape about 3 min was missing and it shows the swimmers and security guard holding a gun at them and taking their money even though the swimmers trashed the restrooms and ripped a poster down.….if Lochte is found guilty …nothing will happen to him since he already in the USA but Feigen could face 6 months in the slammer….

What a mess that was totally avoidable! Simultaneously creating an international incident while playing out the worst stereotype of the entitled American and drawing a lot of attention from his fellow athletes from the USA who are competing. Just perplexing and weird.
