In that clip, TLW looks like one of J.J.'s gfs on "Good Times."  ("Tantalizin' Tonya!!!")

Canadian pride tells me I must support the idea of Tonya Lee Williams, if a recast happens. I watched Polka Dot Door just like any other Canuck.

However, the shame of it all is that this will just turn out to be a another in a long line of disappointments. I'd be more excited if this was 10 years ago and I was a lot more naive about it all.

YASS! Polka Dot Door, memories! Haha

I know I shouldn't get my hopes up, and that they'll likely just have her on once a week, go on some dates with Abe and then only show up at the hospital when there's a health crisis and Dena has someone convulse in their bed like they're on a theme park ride until she's quietly ushered out of town with a throwaway line. But I see so much potential if the fans respond well enough to her.

I think the excitement that's already building is a good sign, honestly.

I know I shouldn't be but I'm very excited about this.  Anyway, I can imagine for the next six months or so that it's going to be good, until the reality comes around.  At least Josh Griffith won't be around to kill her off.

I know what you mean. You said it best.

I just hope this won't be like bringing on Marilyn McCoo's daughter and doing nothing with it.

It's too bad they can't just bring Tina Andrews back.

I know I'm late on this, I don't follow Days so I just discovered this.  Tina Andrews, (who is a screenwriter now) actually lectured my graduate writing class!
