I was watching a clip from a few days ago where Chase was being judgmental and, frankly, bitchy to not only Tracy, but Gio, about Tracy getting her family belongings back. I liked that when Chase tried to chide him over acting like a Quartermaine, Gio briefly paused and then proudly accepted that mantle.
Chase even seemed to be in darker colors than he sometimes wears as if to signify his shift.
After living through certain decades of the show, it's still surreal to see a young Q accepting the family label and baggage, and someone who is critical of them for that being painted as in the wrong.
(Chase questioning Jason's parenting skills is another black mark, albeit a very funny one)
