Vee, you'd do justice to an OLTL revival.

As for me - I'd probably end up arguing with someone over an episode from 1982, and never actually write anything...

I think you'd actually do wonders at either ATWT or GL.

That's very nice of you. I would try.

I guess I should apologize again to Genie...

GH is the soap I know best and have always wanted to write for but I would also love to write for Y&R. And AMC/OLTL, were they still around. :(

Believe it or not, Maxie was my fav before LW came aboard.  I loved her when Maxie was supplying Lucky with drugs, when she stayed in Lulu's ass and was just an all around bitch.  She was great.  Now, Storms believes Daffy Duck is her voice coach hero and she is just floundering.  Her hair is awful and she's gone back to looking like a skeleton.  The wrong Jones sister died!

We wouldn't bend to what they want. Especially knowledgeable veteran/avid soap watchers like @DRW50@vetsoapfan@Vee@Mitch@All My Shadows, @Dr Neil Curtis, @SFK, @DramatistDreamer, @ChitHappens, @Mr. Vixen, etc.

TIIC couldn't handle this crowd...

I'm honored as well.  Thank you :)

I am still pissed that Georgie was killed off.

I have worked as a writer and editor for many years, and would eagerly take on the challenge of penning a soap...as long as I had some degree of creative control, and as long as the show's canvas had not already been gutted beyond repair. I would have been miserable at THE GUIDING LIGHT in its final years, with the Bauers in tatters, and moronic adventure stories at its center. I would have immediately eliminated all things Santos and San Cristocrap, dropped the pointless, minor characters hogging the screen, and stabilized the legacy families.

At GH, I'd fight to have Rachel Ames make any and all appearances she agreed to make as Audrey Hardy, and I'd bring back  Denise Alexander's Lesley Webber as a central, regularly-seen matriarch. Sonny would disappear faster than you could say, "Sonny who?"

Ugh, I miss Georgie so much. I loved her and Lindze Letherman.

I miss her too. She was one of the characters that got me to start watching regularly back in 02.

I always wondered what stories Georgie would've gotten if they didn't kill her off

I thought she Spinelli had stellar chemistry and she actually made him likable. Of course, that was squandered quickly....

I could see you at GH but I would've said AW for you had it still be on-air.

SN: Y'all gonna leave my Santos clan and San Cristobal stories alone.:(

You could it! I would've personally gravitated towards ATWT, GL, B&B, or Y&R as those are the ones I grew up on. I think I could've did fine at AW and DAYS. But I'd suck at all the ABC soaps.

Let's be real, she probably wouldn't have gotten any stories at all (and certainly didn't when she was alive).

Agreed - The Georgie/Dillon storyline was great. I loved that era.

Thanks boo  The ABC soaps were what I grew up on (GH most) but also started Y&R at a pretty young age so I feel I could probably write for that clan. But GH has always been the soap I've wanted to write for! I wish you wrote Y&R, you'd kill it. I don't know much about GL or ATWT beyond the basics, but I'm sure you'd crush there too. :)

I think everyone who wants Denise Alexander back full time needs to go watch her last scene with Monica from last year.    She has physical problems.   She shakes, she can't stand steady, she must lean on tables to stay on her feet.  Her voice is unsteady too.    I don't think she could physically handle being on the show regularly, and I have to assume she doesn't want to be.

  • Members

I love Denise Alexander and think she should be around, but no, she can't handle frontburner work. She's definitely not totally steady on her feet.

  • Members

I'd be fine with a few appearances a year. I never had any expectation of a full-time return.

Hopefully she won't be styled like a bag lady anymore should she return.
