Gloria would return and camp it up as we learn that Billy is actually her biological son and Esther is her long lost sister. Not to worry about incest - Ron would tweet to us that he meant to explain all along that Chloe was actually Tiny's daughter with Nina, but the scenes were cut. 

 

Victor would get 1 less day a week of airtime, and people would insist this proved that "Cartini" really do love GH.

 

Veleka Gray would return as her old bit player manicurist role for 3 days, showing us Ron's love of history. 

 

Dumbass twink Rafe would return, not to actually have a story, but to occasionally have scenes with sassy talk-to gay Anthony, heretofore unmentioned brother of Hilary. Rafe would also walk around in his underwear and grope his ass and bulge sometimes. GLAAD would give Ron and Frank an award for their bravery.

 

Nothing would actually happen, but we would pretend it had.

 

Eric Braeden would give an interview saying they're the best producers ever. 

 

Melody Thomas Scott would give an interview when Sony tries to force her out yet again that Frank was good and helped her keep her job. 

 

Moron fans would fly a banner plane demanding Michael Muhney's rehiring - Ron would be inspired and instead hire Michael Pare to play a recast Matt Newman, now a drug lord (but only "good" drugs). Moron fans would then claim Hunter King sexually harassed Michael Pare and fly a banner plane trying to get her fired. Ron would then be inspired to hire Hunter Tylo to have a twerking contest with Phyllis for Jack's love. Moron fans would finally give up.

I actually would hope that Leanna Love would be back for that....come on that's one positive, they would so bring her back....

They'd bring her back only to be a caricature of herself. While Leanna was loopy and loony at times, they'd totally ignore all other aspects of her personality and contributions as a character and just focus on the campiness.  

I feel like she would be the show's "Lucy" and if Lorie Brooks returned it would be like Tina's returns in 2008 and 2011 on OLTL.

 

And those examples are perfect reasons as to why I don't want them near Y&R. Leanna is nothing like Lucy, and from what little I've seen of Lorie, she was way more complex than what Tina became. 

Agreed, but there's no denying that both actresses would do well with that type of camp no matter how poorly written it is which is why they would both be unfortunate vicitims...

Yeah, he'd do positive things like put Jill back in the forefront along with other veterans: Nikki, Victor, and Jack, but I also see him reverting the show back to the LML and MAB years where the Baldwin/Fisher clan were the main family. 

 

Sharon would remain the kicking post as they continued the same tradition with Liz on GH. 

 

Instead of selling cosmetics, Newman Enterprises and Jabot would be selling relish. 

 

All the men would be walking around shirtless doing degrading sh-t. 

 

We'd have a musical episode, which I am sure Christian Jules LeBlanc would highlight. 

 

Everyone would REALLY be bitten by 'baby rabies.' 

He wouldn't know what do with Jill. She'd basically being doing the same thing she does now. He cant write a strong woman at all.

All the 20 somethings would catch baby rabies and start talking about white picket fence houses.

We'd be lucky if we even have any women in charge of any companies because again Ron hates strong women.

I think he'd actually have a field day with Jill much like he did Vicki and Dorian, who are both strong women. I just think that he'd do damage to Jill by trying to 'repair' her shaky history.

I do think Jill would get some "spunk" back....at least until it all goes down hill.....her and Katherine if she was still alive would probably get some "big" "epic" story arc to honor their anniversary like Viki and Dorian...

How bout Sheila comes back for real, is forgiven for all her past crimes and becomes cheif of staff of Genoa City Memorial ala Dr.Obrecht....occasionally butting heads with Lauren, while coaching Sage (who we learn is really daughter Mary Warwick) into deceiving Nick some more...

Ronald's out of a job in the soap writing industry for the first time in nearly 20 years, and the stans can't handle it.

I don't know if that's how YRfan23 meant it. I don't remember them having any strong opinion of Ron's work. I just took it as a way to have fun.

I'm really sorry if this thread offended anybody, as DRW50 said, I just thought it would be fun for people to share their ideas however OTT they can be, and I for one do not know enough about Frank and Ron to even really be discussing them just based on from what I have watched and what other people said about OLTL or GH.....

I guess also I just wish sometimes that Y&R had that level of humor like GH even Days has, though I know that's more of an ABC/NBC soap thing and Y&R IS NOT and NEVER will be one, but since I sort of associate RC as one of the writers who adds that type of humor, I just thought it would be fun trying to guess what would happen....and I know adding humor to a Soap doesn't mean the stories have to be OTT....

I feel like SONY/CBS would probably never allow Y&R to turn into a sitcomy type of show like ABC has allowed with their soaps anyways, so while there may be even more OTT things that happen if Ron/Frank would come on board, I feel like the dialogue would be the same as it is now....

You've always been one of the nicest people here so I knew immediately you meant well. With all the trolling lately, some of it in awful taste and thankfully removed, I can see why some would be wary, of course. I know some of us (well, me mostly) make "Cartini" sound like evil roaming the cosmos, but if someone else has an idea of them running a show I can understand why they'd want to speculate about it. And as much as I go on and on, I don't even think they'd be any worse than anything at Y&R in the last ten years.
