July 2, 201510 yr Member I modified my above post to include his exact quote. He does take responsibility. You're saying in previous interviews, he blamed everything on the writers. Okay fine. This time he didn't. That's all I'm saying. Im pretty sure he SAYS that in every interview too. But of course he only owns after saying things like "they were burned out and not getting it done" and "we were pregnant with bad story." And proclaiming he wanted to make a change last summer to make himself look good when he damn well knew the story up to the spring time. All Im saying is he needs to stop doing interviews because every one he gives negates what he said in the last. Flip flopping. Politician 101. Its makes his word that hes so worried about in this interview already mean nothing. It is nice to hear Ken admit things but I feel more fans would believe him if he didnt pull this every year or so. Its like the boy who cried wolf. Eventually fans just dont believe a word out of his mouth. exactly
July 2, 201510 yr Member I wonder how many "The Plan to Save DAYS" stories they have done over the years. I bet Jason47 has a database somewhere with this info. lol.
July 2, 201510 yr Member Yes, but he owned up to being wrong didn't he? I've never seen a more candid interview from him. I only read bits and pieces of this interview yesterday (if anyone have the whole thing, please PM me) and Corday said something about having a wake up call at Wes Kenney's funeral, which I thought was really nice.
July 3, 201510 yr Member Would love to hear his take on Sarah Horton lol I honestly don't think anyone even remembers Sarah Horton on the show.
July 3, 201510 yr Author Member I'm surprised KC mentions using people like Doug and Caroline to help run things around town. Can those two even walk at a decent pace? Seriously, there comes a time when we have to realize our longtime favorites can't be front and center forever. They will literally be dying soon.
July 3, 201510 yr Member I honestly don't think anyone even remembers Sarah Horton on the show. Sarah was mentioned (basically as a plot point) months ago by Maggie that she was considering being a surrogate for her friend. Didn't Eve run her over?
July 3, 201510 yr Member Unless Corday is going to invest in his show to get new and more sets, I don't see this as some attempt to save DAYS. It's another attempt to placate things until things fall apart again.

Joe Mascolo is using cue cards and can barely stand up for a whole scene.
July 3, 201510 yr Member He did actually say the show would look like a primetime show from now on Digest: In 2011 you made a big deal abut a reboot, What do you say to critics who argue that you've done this before and said this before? KC: That was nothing like this. That was changing the tire, this is changing the engine, the body, the paint and the driver. You will look at the show and think you are watching a primetime version of Days every day, from the lighting, to the music, to the costumes, to the set design, to the writing, to the acting, to the direction and production. It's just unbelievble. Edited July 3, 201510 yr by dannigold
July 3, 201510 yr Member So all of a sudden,Days can go primetime in look and quality in all departments after years of threadbare production values. Yes,Ken it is unbelievable...
