I really never watch The Talk (and their promos are terrible), but this was pretty heartbreaking and I think this is the pulse of most of the nation. This show is now what The View once was, and you can't walk that reaction back.

He's moved on to making a fool of himself over Caitlyn Jenner. A real pop culture guru he is.

I do wonder why he pulled the plug now. This was the time you'd think he'd double down.

Well, at least they still have Sarah Palin...

I'm tired of people on the far right bringing up Lena Dunham when many liberals did criticize her.

I watched some of The Talk clip (why was Carnie Wilson wearing that awful fright wig?), and her words were powerful, but the applause and cheers from the audience mid-speech were somewhat disturbing. I guess that's the mentality of talk show audiences now - Jerry and Ricki would be proud.

I tried watching this full clip, but I find the Talk grating. I feel sorry for SU for what happened to her. That said Darlene Conner always looks like she wants to go to bed, and I just don't care for Aisha. Julie Moonves is o.k., but they just don't do it for me. And what da hell Shami was that thing on CW's head??? Yikes!

Mother and daughter Palin have gotten tons of media attention for their usual cut-and-paste outrage. I wonder if someone is looking to hire them. I'm still wondering why Bristol Palin even exists, beyond being a billboard for bad plastic surgery, but I guess she knows how to scream "liberal liberal liberal" with the best of them.

Okay I watched Megan interview Jill & Jessa. I feel so for them and I do feel horrible that they were exposed. However I cant with their "Forgiveness" of Josh. Although I do feel the parents re more to blame then Josh at this point since they knew about it for over a year before getting Josh "Help". They allowed him to live with his victims. They favored him over their girls. At least that is how I see it.

I do wish they would have interviewed Josh and he would have the balls to be interviewed. His parents interview did not help and his sisters just made me see the pain that Jill was still in

Josh just gets to sit back and have his parents are victims plead his case.

Grow up Josh your 27. Give something that your kids can be proud of.

    • If NBC could have for seen the ratings of Lovers & Friends (the replacement for Somerset).. they would have for sure kept Somerset on the air longer. https://jason47.com/days/ratings1976.html  (ratings for Somerset in the final year) https://jason47.com/days/ratings1977.html (ratings for Lovers & Friends short run...getting as low as a 2 rating).

    • I liked them, too, and was really disappointed it never went anywhere. The whole art theft story was ridiculous, but they had a nice chemistry. Certainly nicer than Alan with Christine. With her, he looked like the funny uncle. The worst thing they did to Bolger, IMO, was having Phillip write that DREADFUL novel and dramatizing it while he wrote it. GAG, that has to be in the running for one of their worst storylines that didn't involve wacky things like clones or time travel. Soaps rarely do school storylines, or don't do them for very long. Not the case so much in the early days of soaps, but after GH took off in the late 70s other soaps took their lead and would catapult teens/young adults into adult stories right away. That's one reason Phillip and Mindy ended up with so many ex-spouses--they started getting married really young. They shipped Dina and Cameron off really fast after high school and stuck Alan Michael in a marriage storyline with Harley. Did he EVER go to college? I don't think so. It may also partly explain why Quint and Annabelle had to go, beyond TPTB wanting to do a cast sweep. Teaching is not a profession that plays well on a soap. Quint definitely had to quit being Indiana Jones, because that wore thin really fast, but they didn't do him favors by making him a professor. If they wanted to keep him, they should have done what they did with Amanda (who was in another dead-end soap job, concert pianist)--have him work at Spaulding as one of the major stockholders.
    • Judith McConnell (Augusta) and Denise Alexander (Lesley) were great screen partners on GH.  They got into some stellar arguments in character in the medicine room.
    • He also commented that Brad knows that fans are sick of the constant fake deaths on this show: Finn, Sheila, etc and that it's hard to take this seriously if it's another fake death

    • I just don't think Brad Bell has it in him to actually kill off Liam. He should have killed off Eric when he had the chance. I know John McCook is an original cast member, but Eric is even more useless than Liam. Eric should have died and then it would be revealed that he died without a valid will, so Donna, as his wife, inherits everything, including his shares in Forrester Creations.
    • I think we all will, isn't that how soaps work? lol
    • ^^ I'll believe it when it actually happens.
