I never really bought Maxie as a fashionista either. Yeah she had nicer wardrobe during those days but she never "wore" the clothes they wore her. Maybe its because at the time I was surrounded by people involved in the fashion industry but nothing about her said fierce fashionista to me.

Iva, Nola….did he write Lucinda? I don't recall if he created her. Also he introduced Carly to Oakdale….she was nothing like the original Carly that Marland wrote at the end of ATWT run.

If they want Maxie to work they need a better actress in the role. I never understood why this actress was hired when she truly sucked on Days. No storyline can make this Maxie interesting with this actress in the role.

Oh I agree. The only role I liked KS in was as Zenon in the Zenon movies which is probably part of the reason she got cast on this soap. The young people were familiar with her having watched her on Disney for a few years. Maxie is on my list of characters that need to just leave town for a couple of years.

Being a fashionista means you look good in clothes. Storms looked like death warmed over before her departure and now tends to look dazed and confused, like a cautionary tale on wasted youth.

I never bought her in that role either. The story was a bad knockoff of Devil Wears Prada and nothing else. I never got the idea that Guza or JFP were all that invested in her beyond the slampiece of various men - similar to now, the main difference that she now comes across like a squeakier Sharon Tate near the end of Valley of the Dolls.

He didn't create Lucinda. He did write most of her best material, and she was a character who could have easily been a bad joke of a gay man. He and Liz never let that happen.

Aside from network promo departments insisting they were, when has there been any indication these four were big stars? Certainly not in ratings on this show or their previous shows.

GH fans don't tune in to watch actors they are not familiar with playing characters they never heard of. As long as the show wants to feature these non-GH actors as the show's stars they will continue to have sinking ratings.

I disagree with a lot on that list from the site. Hayley Pullos does not need a front burning story. The mob sucked under Guza and the declining ratings the mob enjoyed are matched by the declining ratings RC is enjoying. To me it seem patently obvious: if you want a rise in ratings you drop the mob. Ratings tanked when Sonny, Carly and Jason were front burner. RC sidelined Carly and Jason as well as Sonny's businesses and ratings rose. RC then brought back Jason and turned GH back into its old craptacular mob self, and lo and behold, ratings fall again. Be it Duke or Sonny, there is no evidence anywhere that mob leads to rising ratings. Quite the opposite.

About the only thing this article was dead right about was Rebecca Budig is not worth a promo, and the show would do better with Laura, Brenda or Robin. Rebecca Budig??? If you never watched AMC before would you even know this nothing even exists?

    • Slower day, but not bad. I thought Tomas was at his personal best today, flirting with Kat at Uptown.  Hayley is pregnant!  Oh boy... Samantha felt more like the babysitter today vs. the young sister. I'm ready to meet Sharon. I want a strong dynamic so it's not a repeat of what we just saw with Tracy's reunion.
    • They've been on same day for three episodes, which is a good thing because the days flowed weird to me before.
    • I see both Lois and BLQs sides re Gio BLQ wanted her son to be happy. Lois wanted to make sure it happened, so she gave him to family. Selfish?  Yes, but I get it Gio was raised by a loving mother and extended family. Lois followed BLQ wishes Great acting by AS & RS

date: Tuesday, May 27 | Christopher Dunn, Lynn Martin | Steven Williford I feel bad for Chelsea; she's exploring her feelings, and they're getting [unintentionally] hurt. But I love the support that Katherine has for her cousin. Bradley, you deserve one hundred times better than Deadbeat. So much more. Anita essentially tossing Tracy out... whew. She's done. DONE. Ouch... Chelsea hit the nerve with Katherine. How interesting... I feel like Tracy is becoming the mirror Anita has been avoiding while being a Dupree. What are these top secret things she's harbouring? I really hope Jessica's interest in Tyrell is genuine, because if it isn't, it might just destroy him. Back alley meetings? Your family? As if Bradley is not part of your family... Deadbeat, sit your ass down. Hey, Childbride, lower your damn voice. You're in the country club, not the country field where your ass belongs. And oh God, she's knocked up. Whew... here we go! Dante Greene, what control did this man have? But I appreciate that Anita and Tracy are uniting together; I pray that Sharon joins them soon. I love how easy Katherine and Tomas are with each other; it's smooth, it's natural and it's blooming in all the right ways. Hayley is about to battle the Dupree women for all she's worth. I am calling it right now. The unwavering support Vernon continues to provide to Anita is paramount; I adore them as the couple they are. Notes: Mike Manning (Bradley) continues to show up time and time again in scenes with Brandon Claybon (Deadbeat), who brings nothing to the table. There is an extreme lack of romantic chemistry between them. I'm wondering how different Dante Greene is going to be in comparison to Berry Gordy Jnr; we know the true history of Diana Ross and the Supremes, but how different will it be with Anita Williams and the Articulettes?
    • This episode is beyond excellent Could have waited on tge Trina Kai scenes  but regardless  great soap
    • Haha same! I didn't like her in the beginning, but over time, I've really grown to love to hate her as a villain.  I can't wait to listen to today's new episode later tonight! I've been waiting for the mom and dad (Crystal/Vincent) to have an interaction, so I'm happy to hear it's today.
    • I've always really been enjoying the show. It's very well produced and has so many soap stars in it. I was just listening to ep 7 on YoutTube and can say I'm hooked. There was an intense scene with Crystal Chappell and Vincent Irizarry about halfway through that was GOOD! Is it bad I kind of like Mina? I know she's supposed to be the main villian
    • This isn't a bad episode, but I'm finding myself not as engaged. Must be the lack of Eva and Leslie. No Nicole, Dani.
    • Yes!! I didn't realize it before, and had a busy weekend, so wasn't here much

Wow, what happened to AMC this week? Crashing from 8.4 to 6.6.. I mean, I know they used to go up and down much more than they do today, but this seems like a harsh drop (from 7th to 13th). And nice to see Y&R's first weeks
