Here’s some great news for the the upcoming 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, set to take place on April 26. The ceremony will return to TV and air on the POP channel, formally known as the TV Guide Network. The venue? A soundstage on the Warner Brothers lot. "We’re briging back the Hollywood glamour,” David Michaels, senior executive director of the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards, tells Digest. "We want to give fans the kind of show that they will love."

    Unless they do something like have a tribute to The Doctors and invite the surviving major cast members, I don't give a [!@#$%^&*] anymore.

    Hollywood glamour? Most of the outfits at the Daytime Emmys are not what I would call glamorous. For the past couple of years there's been alot of call girl chic and Texas beauty queen teas. And then a small few that actually bother to work with stylists.

    The deal is multi year!

    Me either and it doesn't bother me. The only thing that would make me feel like I would actually be missing out is if someone like Kathryn Hays were getting a Lifetime Achievement award or something.

    Joan Rivers will be honored at the Daytime Emmys and Melissa will be present.

    I didn't know that Judge Judy and Joan were great friends.

    Oh yes, Judy and Joan were very good friends - yacht trips together, the whole nine yards.

    I'm glad Joan is getting a tribute at the Daytime Emmys, she won one after all. The Primetime Emmys had better not f*ck up the memoriam like the Oscars did.
