You took AW off the list? Chile, I'm just about done with you.

I was never an AW fan. I was one of them that protested when AW characters joined ATWT.

I agree about the AW characters going over to ATWT. They weren't worthy of character jumps to Oakdale. But AW was the best. Any show with Victoria Wyndham is the best simply by default. No one was better than her, not even the precious Beverly McKinsey(sp). VW was an acting juggernaut, and she needs to resurface somewhere. Loved her fro!

Mash lasted longer than the Korean War. Mash was on television from 1972 thru 1983. The War in Korea lasted from 1950 to 1953. However, it can be argued that the Korean War is still going on.

I'm glad they finally made some big changes, but still, I have to wonder where the rhyme and reason are. It looks like they did Sunday and M-F first and then were like "Eh, f!ck it, I'm tired, just leave Saturday the way it is." And then Sunday night is just "Let's. Just. Throw. All. The Extra. Sitcoms. Together."
"Matlock" is an interesting addition. Some people will bitch about it being "too new" even though it's the old folks standard. Still, with so much changing, they could only squeeze in ONE new show? There are quite a bit making return appearances, but damn. Doris Day's been on their website for like 2 years, and they've never put her on the regular schedule for a spell.

I'm sick of all the westerns in blocks. I can't believe they are getting rid of Perry Mason in the daytime for Matlock. WGN and INSP run that show in the freaking ground.

I also notice anytime there is a network that runs old shows, they always pick up Bonanza. I'm getting tired of it over and over on multiple networks. There are about 5 running it currently.

I've become a huge fan of westerns (peep the Dodge City squad in my signature), but I've never been big on Bonanza, and it really is run into the ground. The main thing for me is that there are tons of other successful westerns out there that they could air instead, and I doubt the ratings would be much different. They could try Wagon Train on weekdays. Or bring on something like Alias Smith and Jones.

The one thing I do like about this new schedule is that they seem to be giving more exposure to sitcoms. I'm ALL about focusing on bringing in more drama/action/western series because they are always given the shaft, but ME has become the only place for shows that were so prominent in reruns for so long, and I hate to see them go. Lucy in a better time slot is something I've been wanting them to do for years now.

I'm most like B.J. Hunnicutt.

I wish they would pick up some of the old shows that haven't been in reruns in years like Please Don't Eat The Daisies, The Farmers Daughter, etc...

I'm just glad I didn't end up with Colonel Flagg or Frank Burns.
