Twilight Zone - In Praise of Pip (Sep, 27 1963) Features perhaps the first scene in American television set in the Vietnam War, the opening scene where a wounded Pip is brought into the field hospital. It's also one of the first American TV dramas to mention the conflict in Vietnam and feature a Vietnam veteran, Jack Klugman said when he read the script he didn’t know American men were dying in Vietnam.

Ok, bloodhounds...I need to know the only eppy Jack Kluggman missed on Quincy. I was watching ME Tv this am, and they said Jack passed on an eppy because he didn't agree with the plot. I really want to know which eppy it was w/out having to dig thru Netflix.

They need to replace or move Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Riflemen, and Emergency.

Replace them with episodes of the P&G soaps:

12:30- Search for Tomorrow

1:00- As the World Turns

2:00- Another World

3:00- Guiding Light

4:00- Texas- in half hour installments- like it aired on TBS

4:30- Edge of Night

Westerns are notoriously high-rated in daytime slots, so they ain't going anywhere. I'd personally love to see Gunsmoke have a go in a post-primetime slot just for fun.

Re: Summer of Me. Once again they barely make any differences when they should be shaking things up. The nighttime blocks are all shows that we've had for years now. I'd rather each night be themed with several different shows. Only thing I'm looking forward to is Laverne and Shirley. Low-key looking forward to Happy Days, too. They need to be shot for putting SBTB: The College Years in primetime. The dumbest thing they've ever done.

I do look forward to seeing Dawn Wells one of the two surviving castaways of Gilligan's Island - the other one is Tina Louise (Ginger) .
