Members edgeofnik
Can't wait to see the breakdown of the days he was on. It's great that CBS credits SM's appearance. Of course, it's additionally publicity for CM and the credit definitely shows SM that he's valued and therefore should continue to make many many more shirtless cameo appearances on Y&R..... Members Soapsuds
Yup thought the same thing about him making more appearances in the future.

It's taken Jean and Shelley awhile to get y snd r but Phyllis return should push numbers up.
Members DramatistDreamer
I give credit to JFP for finally realizing that 80s sitcom stars won't help Y&R but perhaps bringing on an actual known Y&R character that people might actually give a damn about could draw some interest. Now all they have to do is write worthy storylines that actually reflect this principle.
Administrator Toups Posted September 19, 2014 Author Administrator Share Posted September 19, 2014 So it took CBS/Sony about two months to find a replacement. I knew there was no way they wouldn't do anything after a ratings collapse like that. Let's see how Chucky does with the ratings.

Members JONNYSBRO
GH did excellent for the time slot change. It's 3 million and not even the winter months and up from last year. Fantastic excitement brings the ratings.
Members marceline
Woo-hoo! I'm thrilled to see that Shemar's return brought in the numbers. Hopefully Nina Tassler is paying attention. I have to give credit where it's due though. CBS did a very good job of promoting his return. The ads, the Talk appearance, the social media, etc... CBS could teach ABC a lot about promotion.
Members edgeofnik
It's only a change in 8 or so markets out of 200+. It would be interesting to know if GH outperformed Katie in her old timeslot in those markets. That would be sweet revenge. Re: Y&R + SM - his days ranked as second highest and second lowest of week.
