Members reallyhateskateonlost
They also left out Charles keating. My mother who usually likes award shows even said this one was bad. "Billy Bob" was robbed...lol
Administrator Toups Posted August 26, 2014 Administrator Share Posted August 26, 2014 I thought Seth was great, but I've always loved his humour. Hooray for Breaking Bad, Aaron Paul, Anna Gunn, and Cranston! What a great send off for what will go down as one of the best shows.
Members ~bl~
Moffat probably felt extremely uncomfortable as the Sherlock wins were surprising, and he only went because of the fiasco that was the BAFTA/Radio Times win for Doctor Who where no one recognizable was there. I didn't have a problem with Meyers comedy and chuckled a couple of times. That said it wasn't LOL funny, but I didn't expect that. The in Memoriam left out a lot of people, but that's par for the course.
Members dragonflies
If I remember when Farrah Fawcett died, I think it was the emmy's that left her out of the In Memorium. Then they gave some lame excuse why they did

Members dragonflies
Julia Louis-Dreyfus is so overrated. I like that Jim Parsons won, but it would be nice to have new winners. I wish someone would do like Candice Bergen did after she won her emmy's, she stopped submitting her name so others would have a chance
Members Mr. Vixen
I agree they should spice it up but hell if I was getting nominated every year, the last thing I would do is *stop* submitting myself. You work your whole career towards getting to that point.

Members Skin
Usually when there is a streak of wins year after year it means nothing new is good enough to knock out a win. The Emmy's tend to skew towards newer shows that have tons of buzz around it. Look at how many nominations Orange Is The New Black received. On that same note the Emmy's tend to forget and overlook individuals who aren't continuously nominated year after year. Look at the actresses from Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives over the years -- when there was always usually one or two nominated year after year until they were forever snubbed. So if an actor or actress just stops submitting themselves, they are pretty much acknowledging they are never going to be nominated again for their work on that television series for the duration of the shows shelf-life. It would be one thing to not submit yourself one year, and then forever lose your chance at ever winning the award again for the next 5 or 7 years. All of the nominations for the Primetime Emmy's are interconnected and show strong correlation for each other. So if a show tends to win one thing, it usually tends to win another. Members All My Shadows
OITNB is going to be that show that gets nominations in the beginning because it "should," but it'll probably win just one of the big ones at some point before getting fewer and fewer nominations with each year. Desperate Housewives, anyone? Forcing it into the comedy categories did a huge disservice to its cast, ESPECIALLY if they do it again next year. Yes, the show can be hilarious, but it was overwhelmingly a drama in season 2, and those great dramatic performances will never be honored if they're stuck in the comedy box. Members ThePrinceOfSunspear
Breaking Bad is so overrated. Glad it's finally done so everyone can stop kissing it's a$$....the Emmys most of all. Seth was terrible. So stiff and so awkward.
