No, Micah is a contract role. Here's more info from my press release:

Jason47 Note: The role of Tori Norita could be for the mother of the new contract character Micah. Back in February, "Days" posted this casting call: DAYS is looking for a gorgeous 24 to 35-year-old African American male to play the contract role of Micah, who is described in the casting call as "charismatic confident and charming without even trying. Ladies want to date him and men want to be him. He gives off a very well rounded confident vibe but there is pain in his past that keeps him guarded." However, in the April 14 issue of Soap Opera Digest, the magazine stated that "Days" had revised the casting call and changed Micah from African-American to either a Hispanic or Asian male. The new casting call stated this: "The show is seeking a 24-30 year old gorgeous Hispanic or Asian male. Micah is a baseball player with fantastic looks and killer charm making him irresistible. He is masculine and charming but authentic so as not to come off as a 'playa' or slick."
With Tori Norita's arrival, looks like Micah will be Asian.

They seriously just copy and paste this s hit don't they?? The casting calls are all the same. How about something different like....Ladies dont want to date him....men dont want to be like him or how about men want to date him....instead we get the same s hit minus either African American or Latino...etc..etc..

    • I am not Jason, but I shared your confusion.  I thought Shawn mentioned he had to get on a flight to see Bo a few days ago.  If he was just in Salem this whole time Shawn could have easily stopped by as could everyone else that was super concerned.  I don't think they would move someone in that dire condition on a plane or anything, so it seems like a continuity error IMO.
    • He should be scary when it matters, like trying to keep that psycho away from his family.    SO yeah this Ted should be intimidating and scary when it's needed
    • As much as I love JJ and Lucky I don't think he should be able to make that call. I don't really think I needed to hear Eden McCoy sing some weird auto tuned ballad with Trina today instead. Carly's shake it off speech to Lulu was funny.  "JOSS is singing!!" Get your priorities straight Lesley Lu lol
    • There were two actors who played Wally. I wonder which one it was. TBH, from what I remember of the storyline and the character, either could have done this. It was a thankless role. Devon couldn't stand sleeping with him, so she would fantasize about making love to bad-boy Sean while they were doing it. Then he'd be all, "WOW, that was GREAT! Whatever you were thinking, keep doing it!" That had to shred any actor's ego, LOL. The second Wally was paired with Betsy Kennicott for a while. If you thought Devon and Wally were dull, that's nothing compared to Betsy and Wally.
    • I appreciate the clarity. May I presume that indicates you shared my confusion?
    • I confirmed with the show today that Bo's Hospital Room is in Salem, so they were all in Salem today.
    • Alex Neil also showed up at Search for Tomorrow after Texas. I think she was on in 1984 in the storyline involving Sunny's rape.
    • I only watched from 2001- onward Live. I will see what early years I can find on the web. Thanks again.
    • I wonder what went on there. Liz has been at a number of Nurses Balls even in the Valentini years, although I don't remember if she was at the last one. You'd think Lucky singing would be a no-brainer, and he has sung once or twice since his return. Maybe Jonathan didn't want to be involved in all that lengthy taping.
    •   I think one of the things that Nicole loved about Ted was that he was commanding but only in a kind way, like her father Vernon.   We the viewers saw another side of him when he gave Leslie the 50 grand to leave town.  Maurice's Ted could get angry, but Ted was never scary.  I don't think Nicole would have married a scary person, even if the scariness was hidden. I appreciate the nuTed trying to reason with crazy Leslie -- obviously it's pointless to try to reason with a sociopath, but he thinks he can.  Or he thinks mild threats would work. In my view, Leslie is scary, and Ted is not, and that contrast is supposed to be there. Bill has done scary things, but not Ted.
