Members Cheap21
same here. I thought the death was cruel and disgustingly drawn out. I thought this was the most disturbing subject matter this show has handled in a long time and unnecesary

I don't wish for Sobby to be shackled to Patty for 18 years. I'd like to see her sans that bum!
Members YRBB
I really don't think it was all that bad. Far be it from me to praise RC's writing but, in this particular story, I didn't feel there was anything that didn't make sense. He was alive for a little over a month (NOT a long period of time for a soap opera, especially one as slow paced as GH) and, for once, RC actually went through all the story beats. The mother and father's vigil, the hope, the slight bettering of the baby's situation, the naming of the child, the worsening and the eventual death. Makes perfect, absolute sense. And, in the meantime, there WAS a ton of stuff they did, like the Nurses' Ball, the drug bust, etc. I actually thought it was perfectly paced. Now, all that being said, the actual writing of this HW material, the dialogue, the ACTING were a huge, painful mess (except for when Sabrina received the news of Gabriel's impending death. That was a great little moment).
Members smirks
I did not even think that there was a Night Court fanbase on tumblr. That's so bizarre, But man, I used to love that show. I gotta find me a Tortoise Nervosa gif.
Members YRBB
Yep, that's exactly what I said as well about this pregnancy. A child would have given Sabrina a permanent connection to the canvas that almost ensured her return to the show at some point if a HW was ever merciful enough to get rid of her. That's just how soap babies and their mamas work. SO thankful that's done.
Members Ryan Chamberlain
I haven't seen any Tortoise Nervosa ones (sadly). I saw that episode again recently and just died with laughter. That whole episode was the funniest freaking crap I've seen in a long time. Hey, if you live here in the States and have Encore Classic. They have Night Court on there at 5:30 and 7:30PM EST every week night. I tape it and then binge watch. LOL. I am sick because I have always had a thing for Harry. Why? Hell if I know. Oh, and YRBB. I also have a thing for Chris Noth. So, thanks for your avi.
Members smirks
Alas, I am Canadian and used to "this content is not available in your area" messages, But the internet has everything -- if you know where to look for it. Kinda weird that Harry Anderson just like up and disappeared after the series was over. Showbiz is a cruel business.
Members Ryan Chamberlain
He had that other show. Dave's World. But, when I moved back in 96 I quit watching it because we only had one TV. Oh, I have a link I can share. They have every episode except the ones from season 6 (which, has the tortoise nervosa ep sadly..)
