June 1, 201411 yr Member No one shoot me for saying this... but winning the Emmy may have been the worst thing to happen to this show. "Who cares? We won the Emmy!" Yeah, so did Santa Barbara... and it was canceled over two years later.
June 1, 201411 yr Member Exactly. I'm personally under no illusions that the show can't be cancelled. Ratings aren't exactly stellar at the moment from what I can tell. For the few things I do appreciate with Tomsell, I still think they need to go, but it honestly could be worse. We could get Dena Higley for a third go-around. I'm also a bit concerned NBC could always consider the 50th a way to send the show off too. I wish Brash/Cwickly were given a longer go in 2002 and I do think MarDar were a step in the right direction. I don't know what happened between Nov '11-Feb '12, but clearly something shifted behind the scenes at the time. Edited June 1, 201411 yr by KMan101
