That was a very Knots opening credits type promo.

I see you, random Knots Landing fan in the ABC promo department.

Good for you.

Yeah, still don't care, especially since it involves characters I don't give a rat's ass about

But my Mom was surprised to see her, she loved her on Knots Landing

I thought the same. It was '80s, alright.

And it just shows how much better retro-style promos are.

She does look good. I dread this role but I wish her luck. I'm always happy to see her.

Donna Mills has ALWAYS been typecast as a battered wife on the run in every single thing I've ever seen her in, especially in all the old lifetime movies I've seen her in. I can't imagine her playing a vixen but she is a good actress. But she's always playing a victim until now apparently. She's BEAUtiful!

RC will !@#$%^&*] it up for sure. Why do I have the feeling her character will have an abusive ex husband after her?

1. Because that's EVERY role she's ever played!

2. RC lives for that [!@#$%^&*] and it's "soapy goodness" according to him!

Are you insane?

Matthewson, Knots is a little tough to find, but Hallmark runs those Lea Thompson mystery movies quite a bit. She plays Lea's mother in one of them, who is a secret agent, with some secrets of her own. It's an interesting role. You might like it.

I remember her role on Melrose Place was a waste. A sort of cold, boring drunk who was Jane Mancini's biological mother. They gave her nothing to do.

I've really just seen her lifetime movies. I've heard about her other roles but I've never seen them for myself. RC is just as bad, if not worse, at writing vixens than he is at writing victims so he's going to !@#$%^&*] it up either way.

Wasn't that plywood Ted Shackelford on Knots Landing?

She looks great, and she always had exquisite eyes. I really am psyched she is coming on the show and it will be interesting to see if she can get into her Abby mode with the chaotic no rehearsal schedule of a daytime soap. I know Joan Collins had a problem when she did daytime some years back.

Looking at her though all I can think about is poor Joan Van Ark. What she must say when she looks at DM and wonder where she went wrong.
