It kind of breaks my heart to see so many of us - myself included - throwing the names of talented women (Haskell, Beck, Pinson, Goldsberry, Tognoni) at this role. Most of these actresses deserve better than Cartini's crap writing and meat grinder production. Plus, honestly, the feminist in me hates the idea that these women are being offered up to ME as if he's the Lord of the Manor choosing which of the local village women to invite to his bed. He doesn't deserve it and I say that as an ME fan. It's time to stop treating these aging soap actors like they are George Clooney. The 90s are over.

Well, this is all speculation anyway. I saw a rumor that his wife dies after he tries to see her. And it's not like we wouldn't be throwing out names of actors if Monaco was getting a new love interest.

I don't think there's supposed to be any gap---soaps are never good with specifics.

I'm not totally convinced that this won't end with Silas leaving the show with his undead wife if these characters continue to tank, but Frank V. did ride the Ford brothers into cancellation.

Michelle Stafford as Nina?!?

SID is nothing but the Enquirer of Daytime. It's all speculative trash. However, not a bad picture of Stafford at all. Everyone else looks awful.
