I had come to a point when sillina didnt bother me that much and was even looking forwards to her moving away from the vortex of suck that putrina was from the get go.

And then they have her become the freaking lying whore who lie for the greater good and im back to being banned from the MB i usually post on

I have been reading the board for a few weeks. Guess getting banned was the push i needed to join in the fun.

And its a joy not to have to keep quiet about KA's awful "acting" among other things lol.and to pile on the swann princess.

Two-third of it.

I cant stand felix but brad is my boy and i have crushed on RYC since i saw him on eating out (and who wouldnt lol)

Even if you did i wouldnt believe it lol

And i feel bad for the guy that plays felix now that i know parry is really close with him. Mustt suck to get a contract and not even one-tenth of the media coverage brad gets.

And im sure marc samuel or whatever his name is is a terrific guy but he cannot act to save his life. In other hands, there would be to make the sassy gay friend into more than what it is now.

I am sure MS will be ok. Ron and especially Frank are known to hire awful actors...anyone remember him?? I remember when he came out shirtless and Frank almost fainted at the sight of his chest...lol

Felix annoys the crap out of me as well. As for Brad, I don't think the early writing for him was all that great, but I like him. A lot has to do with the actor, and Brad reminds me a lot of Kyle from OLTL. Both started out as shady as lab techs with not the best writing, then became "reformed" along the way. To me, I like gay characters that aren't "saints". Will and Sonny on DAYS bore me to tears, because DAYS rarely ever writes them as doing anything wrong and seem so "perfect". Gay characters on soaps should cheat, have ONS, lie, etc just like the straight characters do. Ron's writing might not be perfect, but I like that he writes his gay characters with flaws. As of now, I'll take Lucas and Brad on GH over Will and Sonny on DAYS any day.

Actually Frank Valentini chose him not Ron. I could see Frank salivating at Mikey when he saw him shirtless...it was so obvious someone was getting a boner....lol...I found Mikey hot but he was just a horrible actor.

OLTL never had a story for him. He was Voncent's stooge who Tate killed in one of his racism lead killings

Just like GH and Days didnt have stories for their winners

AMC OTOH, Made Alec a recast Del and had him play in story with his family but they sure kept him naked a lot

    • It's been brought up that Empty Nest was a time slot hit. Here's Empty Nest schedule and seasonal rating in comparison to The Golden Girls. 1988/89: The Golden Girls Saturday 9 pm, 6th. Empty Nest Saturday 9:30 pm, 9th. 1989/90: The Golden Girls Saturday 9 pm, 6th. Empty Nest Saturday 9:30 pm, 9th. 1990/91: The Golden Girls Saturday 9 pm, 10th. Empty Nest Saturday 9:30 pm, 7th. 1991/92: The Golden Girls Saturday 8 pm, 30th (final season). Empty Nest Saturday 9 pm, 22nd.  1992/93: Saturday 9 pm, below the Top 30. 1993/94: Saturday 9 pm, below the Top 30. 1994/95: Saturday 8:30 pm then 8 pm, below the Top 30, and cancelled. Empty Nest 7 season run equaled the parent show The Golden Girls.
    • In an interesting turn of irony, when Somerset came onto the airwaves in 1970... it ran against Dark Shadows and beat it in the ratings fairly quickly.  Then when Edge of Night moves to ABC in December 1975 and put against Somerset, the slow ratings rise that Somerset was allegedly having in late 1975 is derailed. From reading the write ups of the final year, the show dropped the May/December romance.. which viewers enjoyed and was getting the show some good press... the original cast member was sidelined due to medical issues, and the show featured pure crime stories without any balance. I think the crime focus was an attempt to compete with EON.  However, people that were into crime stories/mysteries weren't going to tune into Somerset for their fix.. not when Edge of Night was known for that.. and that show was running on a high quality wise when the network switch occurred.

    • Erwin Nicholson's last episode as SFT ep was 11/21. Whitesell started 11/22/85. Erwin was on board from March 8, 1985 so less than 9 months. Whitesell lasts six months (approximately) before P&G moved him to AW for two years where he primarily worked with DePriest. Whitesell was replaced on Search by no daytime experience David Lawrence who closed out the show's last six months.

    • I assume in name only?  One Stormy Night wasn't exactly steamy.  If it's a literal throwback then Stephanie's writing about sexy times her own Uncle was having lol. Since I am going to surmise it's just a throwback to the name, Night Sins and Winter Heat both sound sexier.  Just saying.  I swear Jamey (and Ron) just google things and land on the first thing they like and decide it's a good throwback to history without watching it.
    • I usually don't want Tide placement in the middle of an intense sad scene, but this is an interesting point
