December 11, 201312 yr Member Oh snap I should not have read this thread, but that totally has me excited!
December 11, 201312 yr Member CALLED IT. Hahah, haven't even seen Tuesday, but I KNEW something was off with Theresa. Good work writers, and Jen Lilley. Amazing.
December 11, 201312 yr Member I am not here for a redeemed JJ and Teresa. Glad she remembers but wish she'd lay off the drugs/booze Jennifer and Daniel have the same conversation everyday. The only difference this time is that it wasn't as hostile as the last. Ciara has the earring. Of course she'd get it. In for scenes of her hiding and lying to Hope now. Oh and glad to see they still remember Bo. Too bad they still haven't done anything to address his absence and why he isn't around
December 11, 201312 yr Member Oh thank CHRIST Theresa is no longer the whiney good girl. I have been FFing her scenes because (A. ) I am not nuts about the actress and (B. ) Good Theresa with her permanently constipated expression and Mary Sue hair was such a raging bore. She and JJ were fire in their scene together, and that is not something I have ever written about Jen Lilley. What is going on with Tuesday's episode? I was hooked for the first time in a week or two. Thank goodness Ciara is now involved in this earring story! I can't wait for her to start hiding it and obsessing over it. The little boy who plays Theo is the cuteness for giving it to her as a present. Rafe and Jordan. I wish I cared. EJ and Abby. WTF is going on here? Because I think I like it!
December 11, 201312 yr Author Member Just watched and all I can say is thank god Theresa was faking! She was turning into such a boring drip. How cute were Theo and Ciara? What's the deal with EJ and Abby? Are they going there? EJ/Sami fighting and then making out is SO damn tired. Yawn. JJ: "Maybe it's not too late for my mom and Daniel!"
December 11, 201312 yr Member JJ: "Maybe it's not too late for my mom and Daniel!" Now, this must be some DID-shyt, because there's no way Real JJ would act like that.
December 11, 201312 yr Member Teresa needs to hook up with Nick. Assuming he's alive, I'd love to see then get together and cause trouble. She should be the first one to see him alive and keep his secret. Maybe he can catch her with drugs or sons thing and they are forced to help each other. Can you imagine Sami's reaction if her cousin gets involved with her enemy? Those two going head to head could be interesting
December 12, 201312 yr Member MAKEUP & HAIR STAFF CHANGES...FOUR LEAVE "DAYS" WHILE TWO JOIN THE SHOW Makeup artist Glen Alen Gutierrez, who has been with "Days of Our Lives" since April 2007, has left the show. Also, the hairstyling department has had an overhaul. Hairstylists Matthew Holman, Jen Singleton and Maria Elena Panteja have all left the show. Holman (pictured above with his "Days" Emmy) had been with "Days" since June 2007, while Singleton and Panteja joined the show in 2012 and 2013, respectively. Holman's website states he is now a hairstylist on "How I Met Your Mother" as well as Alison Sweeney's hairstylist on "The Biggest Loser." All four were removed from the credits as of December 9. Joining the show as the new assistant hairstylists are Leigh Ann Pitchon (most recently of "The Newsroom") and Armando Licon.
December 12, 201312 yr Member That's interesting. I know people used to complain about the hair on the show, although not as much lately.
December 12, 201312 yr Member you don't blackmail someone unless you got the receipts and well Theresa brought out her receipts! OMG, love how she handled JJ. It was perfect Kate and this petty drama with Jordan....its beneath her This episode proved why EJ and Sami are the best couple on the show and possibly best written currently in daytime. Those scenes were great. The dynamics between them is very complex and three dimensional. They can be angry and express their distrust for each other while still displaying deep down that they love each other dearly. Im glad she didnt sleep with him and she fully explained why. The acting in Ali and James' eyes said alot. Fantastic material here Edited December 12, 201312 yr by Cheap21
December 12, 201312 yr Author Member Barf! Ejami are just so disgusting. I have pretty much zero interest in a potential EJ/Abby pairing, but I'll take it in a heartbeat over one more second of this vile sh-t! If these two are the "best written couple in daytime," then I am just done with soaps. LOL at Theresa and her neighbor at the end. I'm glad that she's bad again.

Soaps have largely forgotten to do these kind of epic scenes between couples, loaded with sexual tension, resentment, fears and love, but not Days. I assumed it was just going to be some scene where Sami pants over EJ while simultaneously pushing him away, but it was so much more than that. They really are so watchable as a pairing. Kate has Jordan's number! LOL Team Kate.

I dont watch Y&R so I cant speak to that but between Days, GH and B&B, I honestly cant think of another couple that gets written as well as these two on a consistent basis. Maybe Dante and Lulu on GH but they arent consistent and IMO still dont quite compare to EJ and Sami. B&B? There isnt a single decent couple worth mentioning. Every other pairing on GH is a mess. On this soap? Theres Sonny and Will but they are boring and lack much fire. Theres a raw intensity between EJ and Sami that’s a whirlwind of emotions, but ultimately rooted in love. There are very few currently on daytime that are as dynamic as these two IA. Soaps have largely forgotten to do these kind of epic scenes between couples, loaded with sexual tension, resentment, fears and love, but not Days. I love that the writing doesnt sugarcoat them as their flaws and mistakes are thrown on the forefront and the characters actually discuss it while still maintaining a relationship. Nothing is treated as black and white when it comes to them.
December 12, 201312 yr Member Just watched Wednesday. Honestly, Melissa Salmons is one of the best scriptwriters in daytime right now. SUCH a good episode. Honestly, if the show was a half hour, the Sami/EJ confrontation would have made a fantastic two-hander episode all on its own. Those two have really won me over this past year, and the writing has definitely helped. I can't wait to see how this all plays out, especially with Abby possibly being thrown into the mix. Delicious.
