I think that's unlikely for anything beyond an occasional guest spot, but beyond that I'd love to see Liza Colby, and I'd take a recast if MW or JL are unavailable. Charlie Brent played by someone other than Christopher Lawford would be good.

I'm not sure who I'd cast if Marj isn't available because she was just so utterly fabulous as Vanessa! But God, yes, she's needed!

I say SSH because there was a rumor that AMC was gonna reveal Vanessa was alive before AMC left ABC, but Marj Dusay was ill. The rumor went on to say they were gonna recast with SSH, however I guess they decided aganist it or it was always a RUMOR.

Why? She's barely recurring. More of a guest who pops in a few times a year. As of this day in September, she's only done 5 episodes. Last year it was 9. She's had several projects between Days gigs. She's older and I think prefers the freedom her schedule has so she would likely not do anything long term but something like the PP soaps which as of now only film for a few weeks and switch back and forth, is something she'd likely be down for. I could easily see her doing an arc or two while still maintaining appearances on Days which again are few and far between.

Exactly. She's gone back and forth to Y&R so I don't see why she couldn't do a PP soap.

I would like Amanda to return but with an older actress. One that Favors Kate Collins and could put the crazy in Amanda!!
