Members EricMontreal22
Or the new writers changed it? I'd be curious...
Members Jonathan
Sorry to say but David Canary wasn't all that sharp in his last appearances. Even during his last run on ABC, he had problems channeling Stuart.
Members Vee
I didn't see a difference.
Members EricMontreal22
I did notice he had trouble getting Stuart right the last time. I thought maybe he was a bit off with the PP reboot, but only ever so slightly--and that's onlybecause he's usually 150% brilliant.
Members marceline
I did. Same with Julia Barr. I chalked it up to the PP production model. She's certainly hit her stride again and I have no doubt DC could do the same. I don't recall any difference with his last scenes on AMC 1.0 but that was so rushed I'm surprised anybody could remember their lines.
Members EricMontreal22
Yeah I was going to mention Julia was too--but she's completely come around (as has her face! )
Members Vee
Possible UO: Assuming poor Cass is not a romantic option for anyone anytime soon let alone Bianca, I am not averse to them bringing back Laura, who I think would be an interesting counterpoint in the Chandler mansion to all the blood family members hanging around while Brooke rules the roost. Laura Allen's Laura was super-dykey and had amazing chemistry with Eden Riegel, but a recast could as well.
Members ellabelle
I am not opposed to this AT ALL. I was really surprised they didn't go there before with Laura and Bianca because the actresses played really well off of each other, and it could have been really entertaining to watch Erica cope not just with Bianca having an actual lesbian relationship but having it with Brooke English's daughter. I could see Laura coming back as openly bisexual, admitting that she had feelings for Bianca back in high school but wasn't sure how to handle them and only realized later that she was bi. I'd also really like to have a recast Jamie Martin back. Surely James - Jamie sounds too little kid - is done with medical school and is some specialist in something Pine Valley needs. I could see James telling Cara that JR is trouble and that he doesn't buy the "I've changed" act. I'd love to see James interact with a teenaged AJ, and it would be interesting to see what AJ knows about his infancy. Plus surely he'd have a better bedside manner than Dr. Anders and be less obnoxious than the absent Griffin.
Members Cheap21
If Bruening doesn't return then Id take Chris Engen as Jamie
Members Vee
I don't need Jamie. That character has very rarely been anything but a spare part. And as for right now, they already have plenty of doctors and Jamie's related to too many people. Bring him back when there's a real need and they have a real plan for the character. I'd love to see Liza visit, but God knows who'd play her. I ended up liking Jamie Luner but I doubt she'd be back. Knowing this team they'd try for Marcy and I don't think Marcy's comin'. Of course I never thought I'd see Dimitri again either.

Members marceline
Benny, Phoebe (oh to hear him call her "Duchess), Mrs Valentine Tad, Jesse, Jenny, Angie and Greg Myrtle and Zach Tom and Haley (although technically he was her sponsor) Derek and Trevor AMC ruled when it came to soap friendships. Although I think they share that honor with GL. One of things that AMC excelled at was creating believable friendships between people who were different genders, races, ages, class, etc... that's what made them so enthralling to me. If I can't get Luner back then I want Beth Chamberlain. *stamps feet* I think she'd make a perfect Liza. Plus the weirdness of seeing "Beth" and "Lujack" on screen together would be kind of awesome.
