You don't have to transplant it to NY. Remove Maggie Smith from the show and you'd get the same effect. She's the only thing that keeps me watching.

Maggie smith is one of the finest actresses to ever hit the screen. She can do no wrong and I don't think she ever gave a bad performance. She just owned Gosford Park, that Neil Simon movie set in LA, Jean Brodie...I honestly don't recall her ever being bad.
