May 24, 201312 yr Member Camryn Grimes (ex-Cassie) is back in Genoa City today taping scenes and her first show will air on Monday, July 8. Specifics are being kept under wraps but it is more than just a one-day visit. Grimes originated the role of Nick and Sharon's daughter in 1997 and played the part until the character's shocking death in 2005, the effects of which are still felt in storyline today. The actress has made several guest appearances since then, and was most recently spotted on the big screen as the "Birthday Girl" in Magic Mike. http://soapoperadigest.com/content/exclusive-camryn-grimes-back-yr
May 25, 201312 yr Member I hope they don't go there with some suckass story about Sharon really having twins that no one knew about. Edited May 25, 201312 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
May 25, 201312 yr Author Member She's either a twin lol or Cassie never died. I could see them doing like GH did with Emily and Rebecca
May 25, 201312 yr Member I was hoping she was in a coma that she finally came out of. & 99.99% of this stuff didn't happen. But she dream it up.
May 25, 201312 yr Member Hmmm, maybe this is the beginning of pulling off their own version of the last few months of AMC on ABC?......(Bringing People back from the dead)
May 25, 201312 yr Member I suspect this is a ghost appearance, but I have no problem with Cassie returning in some form if Colleen follows. Edited May 25, 201312 yr by Ann_SS
May 25, 201312 yr Author Member I doubt it's a ghost if it's more than one day. Ugh they better not do a John Abbott
May 25, 201312 yr Member I doubt it's a ghost if it's more than one day. Ugh they better not do a John Abbott Why does more than one day not make it a ghost? Ghost John usually gets on average 2 appearances every month.
May 25, 201312 yr Member LOL! Exactly, Ghost John is around for days on end and those appearances do not take one day to film. If Nick is struggling with facing the results of the paternity test (which I think will go in his favor) I can see Ghost Cassie appearing in several episodes as his conscience and confidant. May 25, 201312 yr Member Wooooooooooo, not mad at this at all. She was definitely a fun reason for me tuning in when I was a kid.
May 25, 201312 yr Member Cassie was killed off to keep Nick and Sharon "young and viable", unfortunately her death effectively killed both characters, regressing them to adolescence. Wanting to and screwing everything that paid them a kind word. All it did was make Sharon and Nick look like old whores.
