Not too long ago, B&B put out a casting call for Julie Spencer, a white business woman (beautiful, etc. you know the drill) in her 40s. The role is recurring, but could become contract.

No way do I see Katie as Brooke's rival. Brooke's family always rallies to her defense and Katie is written as a doormat. More likely the new Spencer to be Brooke's rival. Besides, if anything Heather Tom might be the next one out the door. When is her contract up?

I fully expect Katie to put everyone on notice that Brooke's predicament is her (Katie's) fault. BB had no way of knowing she wasn't serious when she told them to be together. And per usual, because everyone on this soap lives in a weird universe, they will accept it and feel bad that Katie got Brooke in this mess! Just you watch.

Instead of berating Brooke for the trash she is, and that no matter what Katie said in a heated moment doesn't give her the right to screw Katie's husband, Brooke will be coddled while people line up to babysit.

Yep, Taylor's gonna need to go because the audience can't have any reminders of how vile Brooke is.

I think now the show is going into the direction of Brooke and Eric being the new matriarch and patriarch of the show. That will be a somewhat symbolic move. Just like Eric cheated on Stephanie in the first years with Brooke, now Brooke will cheat on him and go back and forth between him and Bill. Why symbolic? Well, it all began with the idea of this poor girl from the valley that came into Beverly Hills and with time got into the Forrester's roots like a leach. In the end after fighting with the QUEEN of the show, she almost made the QUEEN bend on her knees and ask for forgiveness and then died in her arms. Now she is going to be getting close to Eric again and I really expect she will be the new QUEEN, but a very different one - the slut from the valley is still very much alive and no crown can hide that mentality of a histrionic bitch with narcissistic tendencies. It's a the new B&B after 26 years - new brothel, old hoes.

I don't see myself watching past July then. Taylor and Steffy are two of my favorites. I haven't liked Brooke since they started that BS with Bill last fall and I only liked Liam and Hope due to Steffy's angle in their story.

Me too. I don't think she ever recovered from that mess of killing Darla. Even if nobody talks about that incident, ever since, she's been a secondary character.

Chile, they had to cut and give Hunter time to squeeze out a tear. She managed one during the commercial break, but then they might have gone with the drops to save time.

I think this will make a huge change in the show and I don't think it will be for the better.

Way too forced, and you can't get anything from Tarylor because of Hunter's face, so why even bother?

My guess would be that Taylor leaves after being upset that Eric agrees to pretend to be Brooke's baby daddy (though Taylor may not know he is pretending) and Steffy will go with her as a result of losing the baby.

It will be really different without both of them onscreen, but I stopped watching (for the last time) the day before the episode revealing Brooke is pg.

This seems to be more bad news for B&B fans.

Any else think maybe hunter tylo could be joining sister soap Y&R?

The good thing for Debbie is that B&B has syndication abroad, so she will be getting paychecks long after she vacates her role again. I guess the show is really going to start skewing younger. They keep on casting young'ns and letting go of the veterans.
