I never knew she was on $64,000 question.

While she may have helped create the TV craze for psychobabble, she always seemed to have class and a little humor, unlike most of the disgusting Dr. Phil types around today.

I remember her for her cameos on stuff like Golden Girls and Hollywood Squares.

She was also on OLTL a few times in the late 60s.

I remember seeing her on Match Game (70s version) a few times, but I first heard of her when she was in an Old Navy commercial with Morgan Fairchild (I think) in the late 90s (I was a kid, okay? ).

Terribly sad, Joyce Brothers was a gentle, sprightly person who seemed to have a good heart.

Sprightly. That's the perfect description.

I still remember when she made that guest appearance on "Mama's Family," counseling Vint and Naomi about their "slump" in the bedroom.
