This was still season 1 which isn't uncommon for Tyler Perry bc House of Payne would drag a season out to like 40 episodes when the norm is 22

On the OWN site, it has the episodes arranged by season in the episode guide, so this was the second season finale. OWN ordered twenty episodes after the first season, but they got divided up by season.

which is confusing bc in the same episode guide they have the current episodes labeled as season 1 and continue the counts from the finale last year (117 instead of 201)

Yeah, I like how Hannah got arrested and no miranda rights were given, and she's sitting there in jail with no explanation. Hilarious. This show makes my night :)

Tyler Perry gets nothing ELSE right, so it doesn't surprise me he knows nothing about criminal procedures either.

Professor, how you gone explain that knife sticking out of your back while you finish your morning jog? Had to be one of the most ridiculous things on TV ever!

Finally finished watching and my God! This show is just awful.

"Son, I want to talk to you, and I want you to listen to me"...

"You want to talk to me, dad"?

Huh?

For God's sake, I wish Miss Perry would hire a REAL writing staff w/ qualified and capable people.

Judging from everyone's posts, I'm starting to think TP should attempt a different tactic and turn this show into a full-on parody of soaps, both daytime and prime-time. I mean, hell, you've already got people at home laughing their asses off. Might as well roll with it.
