Members Y&RWorldTurner
The mob was part of GH before Sonny and Jason and will likely outlive them. It's been part of the show's fabric for over 30 years.
Members DRW50
Not a Benard fan but I didn't see anything wrong with the interview, other than I don't want the mob back. He's right about the returns (which mostly feel flat to me anyway). I didn't get any impression he hates the show or wants to leave.
Members Ann_SS
I always see this response whenever the mob is dissed, but it totally disregards how the mob was characterized before Sonny and Jason came along. The mob was never revered on GH, never. Mobsters always ensnared and preyed on GH residents and were always to be defeated by the good guys. Before Guza came along Luke's involvement with the mob was all about him trying to get away from the Smiths. The only real mobster that got any kind of redemption was Duke and it was always played that he was reluctant to be in the mob. He was always trying to get out. But know what, I don't care. Sonny and Jason ruined this show for years with their mob anti-hero [!@#$%^&*]. Jason is gone and Sonny's mob ties are minimized exactly as it should be. Members OldGHFan
MB doesn't seem to like any of the returning vets eating up his airtime either.
Members MissLlanviewPA
Seriously. His past aside, it was great to see someone who actually treated Tracy like she was a vibrant, sexy woman, as opposed to a certain formerly broccoli-haired, over-the-hill arsehole that I could name . Members VirginiaHamilton
He made that abundantly clear with his whiny little interview. Oh, well, he'll need to deal the same way that previous vets had to deal with him and his roided pal robbing them of their well-earned airtime.
