TV Guide has learned exclusively that former Guiding Light Actress Wendy Moniz will replace Alicia Minshew in the role of Kendall Hart when the revived sudser resumes taping on April 15. An insider confirms that the show couldn't reach a suitable scheduling deal with Minshew, who is currently juggling several other upcoming projects. A Prospect Park spokesperson was unavailable for comment. Look for Moniz to debut on June 3. As previously reported, Minshew will make a quick (now last) appearance as Kendall this Spring. AMC premieres on Hulu.com, Hulu Plus and iTunes on April 29.

And "too bad it's not true", LOL. I wouldn't go that far, but I do think Kendall needs a revamp, moreso in how she's written than who plays her. She should not be a tragedy queen and generic heroine as she had become by the end of the show.

Moniz is only 44. Considering that Erica Kane had Kendall at 14, La Lucci's onscreen daughter should be a year over 50! And with the 5-year time warp, 55! Damn! Does that make Erica 70???
